From our customer we received the request for an economic system to control the headlights, which would be convenient for launching models of their group’s low cost brand.
Our choice was to replace the electrical system, currently the unique one on the market, with a new mechanical system that we have designed, patented and developed specifically to meet the needs of the customer. This product, which is moved through a remote control system, uses a Bowden cable system as an economical and reliable solution similar to the systems used to open the hoods, the petrol doors, move the seats, the wipers and open the windows where we have more then ten years experience.
Our system is therefore a complete system that includes the control for the regulation in the dashboard, the system of cables that connect the car interior to the headlights and the actuators that move the dishes. The production process involved 10 different types of process technologies – from plastic molding to plastic co-molding on metal inserts, using automated assembly systems for sheaths and wire ropes, coating by plastic extrusion and assembly of complex parts for controls over distances of more than 3 meters – in addition to constant quality controls for the creation of an efficient product for functionality and repetitiveness.
