I'm concerned that the effectiveness for delta is less than for alpha.

How should politicians be thinking about this?  US based optimization or global optimization?  There's pressure to optimize for US protection short term, but without the global optimization it becomes more likely for new variants to pop up.

any response that can't be clicked on loses it's value, i think. even when the link is presented, if it's not hyperlinked... or if an image thumbnail doesn't show up... of course these are also general comment chat features, not idiosyncratic here, but could be an opportunity to do our own unique thing

i wonder if people might use openaxis to generate or retrieve datasets on charts in the wild that are PNGs and don't have the data available -- e.g., "hi guys, i saw this awesome chart from a 2005 article in the economist. can someone help me generate the dataset?" or like a quora for data and charts -- hi guys, i'm doing research on climate change, can someone share the most important datasets or interesting charts available? or hi guys, here is a carbon emissions dataset, i made this chart, can you come up with anything else?
